PETER BRUGGER
VISUAL COMMUNICATION
Peter Brugger is a Graphic and Type Designer
currently living in Istanbul, Turkey.
He served an apprenticeship at a printer. He studied
Visual Communications at the Basel School of Design Switzerland,
Pforzheim University - School of Design Germany and
at the Nova Scotia College of Arts and Design Halifax Canada.
He taught Typography and Type Design at the Stuttgart
State Academy of Art and Design.
He designed the type families Gringo and Matryoshka which are
licenced to the fontlabel volcano type.
His work has often been awarded and published.
